Enneüs Heerma Bridge

Mike Otlet helped Grimshaw win the competition to design two new bridges over the Ijsselmeer. The concept was to provide a link to carry trains, vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles to the new reclaimed island “Ijburg” off the shore of Amsterdam. The 240m long bridge has two 75m spans with link sections between. Each inclined arch has the same profile.
